I am 0 years old, I started coding literally 2 years ago, and I’m already getting many interviews, so I’m guessing it’s because the market is hot, but I don’t really know how to handle it.

I just had a job interview yesterday and I was feeling pretty good about it until they told me what the compensation was, and it was literally double what I was expecting, but I didn’t have time to do any research because everything happened so quick - the interview, the technical exam and the job offer all happened in the span of 48 hours while the research usually takes days or weeks, sometimes even months. So I just felt really good and started feeling impatient and didn’t wanted to miss this opportunity, and I just rush into accepting the job, and now I’m feeling really bad about it, because I don’t think I’m ready to commit to a job right now, and I didn’t have time to think about the impact this could have on my life.

I don’t know anybody in my field and I don’t have any advice, but I just feel like I could have handles this better. I don’t know what to do now, I just feel lost, so I was wondering if anybody have ever been in a situation like this.

What are the steps I need to follow to cancel a job offer?

What is the protocol to follow if you change your mind after accepting a job offer?

How do I reject a job offer that I have already accepted?

How do I communicate my decision to cancel a job offer that I previously accepted?

What should I do if I regret accepting a job offer?

Can you provide guidance on how to handle a situation where you accepted a job offer?

How do I proceed if I'm not ready to commit to a job and need to cancel a job offer?
