1.1 million views of 9/11 and no plane in either tower. Seemed like a glitch as we had been seeing the smoke rising all day. (false memory)

As a kid I used to remember watching an hour-long video in school of what happened on 9/11. Our teacher was a history buff so she made us watch a montage of different news stations broadcasting the events as it happened. <br><br>The thing that always tripped was that there was one camera view showing the smoke rising from both towers and the South tower started to collapse. It was a long view shot but was definitely a commercial airliner. Then, the camera moved closer to show the tower collapsing. Maybe a few minutes later the camera cuts over to the North tower and at that exact moment an explosion is erupting in the same corner as it's about to collapse. For the next 5 minutes (which made the whole event much less dramatic) the camera point showing the explosion in the North tower kept focusing on the smoke cloud. <br><br>I grew up with this memory and used to do a lot of research about 9/11. When talking about it in school, I would always argue that most of the footage of the towers collapsing was of the South tower, and so many people would argue with that. Anyways, I recently looked up the footage and there is none of what I described above. <br><br>I don't know if I combined events and mixed the order of what happened in my mind, but that's my glitch memory.
