Automated Medical Diagnosis and Treatment should be here today but it isn't.<br><br>Diagnosis: It’s 2024 and you can’t just spit in a device and get a list of every disease or problem you have in your body along with the probability. Deepmind has made huge strides in solving complex protein structures and figuring out how to predict new drugs, but all of that is meaningless without a way to diagnose people accurately. <br><br>Treatment: Why are we still in the dark ages of medicine where they can’t even create a reliable pill to cure the flu? The flu is not covid, it’s an actual well-defined virus, and we can’t create a pill that kills it? This is insane. We should have tons of pills that cure all types of diseases. Every time you go to the doctor they should just give you a pill and say it’s completely cured now go home. They should give every human a pill that completely reverses all of their medical problems. <br><br>We are a long way away from that. Medicine is stuck in the stone age. We need cures for everything and we need them now.
