Maybe I'm stupid, but why isn't Donald Trump in jail?

He openly admitted to misusing Presidential powers to get reelected, he is openly profiting off the presidency through his businesses AND he is openly and obviously extorting countries and states to give him more votes and put his businesses front and center with his campaign. I'm not even listing a fraction of his crimes here, but why is he still walking free?
