My 22F husband tied my waist long 22F hair in a ponytail while i was high, and i just found it. Is this weird?

So my husband and i have been together for 5 years and we are so happy together, but a few weeks ago i discovered something weird that he did while i was high. Basically i was high and passed out on the bed, and he picked up some hair shears and cut off a piece of my hair. He tied it in a ponytail and put it in a plastic bag. I found it in his desk drawer and freaked out. I love him more than life itself and was just so confused and hurt. So i hit him. He said he did it because he likes the way my hair smells and that he wants to carry it around with him always, and that he was sorry but he just can't help himself. We have talked it out and he has apologized and i said to just throw the hair away. But now i am obsessed with the thought of him carrying my hair around. I think it is great. It is so sweet. But i just wish he would have talked to me about it first before he did it and asked permission. Do you think this is a normal thing to do? He has always been fascinated with my hair, but never said that he wanted to carry it around before.<br>Tldr: my husband cut some of my hair, tied it up and put it in a bag, and i just found it. But now i like the thought of him carrying it around.
