My wife is Israeli, I am German

She moved to Germany 10 years ago. We met, fell in love, a perfect life! I never thought that I would ever fall in love with a Jewish woman after all that Germany did, but life is funny that way. <br><br>Two days ago we visited a huge open air exhibition of that was arranged by the German government about their history and how they are sorry for being so poor that led to bad things happening. It was great. <br><br>When we were finished we were very happy that our country is doing so well and is still sorry for the shit they did and the people they hurt. My wife is Israeli so that was important to her. But then a few minutes later someone approached us. He saw my wife's star of David and said we have no place in this country. He also called me a "race traitor" and told me to die. He was German and spoke German to us, not Arabic. <br><br>Other Germans helped us and intervened and called the police and the guy was arrested. But still that was the first time my wife was called a race traitor for loving a German man. In our 9 years together someone in Germany has called her a kike once because she was wearing the star of David necklace, but that was it. Suddenly things seem to be going backwards. <br><br>I love my wife more than anything and I am so proud of her and Israel, but what if things really do go backwards? What if they try to kick out my wife or worse? I could not live with myself if anything happened to her.
