You should pick two subjects you are really strong in, and just focus on those. You should aim to get 90%+ in those subjects, and stop worrying so much about the 3-4 other subjects (apart from the two you picked).Apart from those two, you should aim to get 60-70% in the other subjects - which is basically doing the bare minimum. You can just lag in the weaker subjects and you will be fine. You can easily achieve A*s in the stronger subjects and still, with minimal effort in the weaker subjects get into a good uni.

For example let’s say you are good at economics and history, you should focus on them and get good grades in them. Then focus less on the weaker subjects, as they dont matter. What matters is your strengths and your grades in them. You can still get into a good uni by just focusing on the strong subjects and lagging in the weaker subjects.
