I am currently working as a marketing specialist in a startup and was thinking to transition into web-development. My boss was happy to let me do so, and I was thinking of completing online courses for 2-3 months and then they would let me switch departments officially. <br><br>The issue I am having is I am finding it really hard to find online coding courses that are specifically catered for web development. I started on codecademy, which barely taught me anything. Then I started CS50 and i am finding the content there to be irrelevant to web-dev, it is more dry coding in general. I also joined the u and r/learnprogramming sub and got some recommendations but I am still unsure which to take on. I am also finding online courses that aren't free cost a pretty penny.<br><br>I am sure there are many other people like me who have switched roles and have had the same struggle. I know that everyone has different learning styles and needs, but I was wondering if there was at least a one-size-fits-all solution in terms of coding courses that cater to web dev.
