$600 (versus $1200) is a slap in the face.

$600 versus $1200 is a difference of $600 for every American who is about to receive a stimulus check. There are 328 million "Americans." 328,000,000 x $600 = $197,280,000,000.00. Imagine how many people who have been bankrupted by COVID would be helped with nearly TWO HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS.<br><br>Edit: I fully understand that $600 is better than $0. But it's not the only option. We chose this number. $1200 is what we got LAST TIME when we were locked down for two months. We've been locked down for EIGHT months this year, and the economy is FAR worse off. This was an easy decision.
