Last night, I listened to a podcast with a very eye-opening story that I wanted to share with you all and get your thoughts on it. A woman in Georgia shares a very strange story that she still doesn’t have answers for. It was the 1990’s in central GA and a single mom with a small son ended up car crashing and having a brain aneurism. She is a frequent drinker and woke up in the hospital and finds out that her child is dead and she had been in a car accident. She is heartbroken and in the morning, she meets with the doctor to ask some questions and he tells her that the accident happened in the evening the night before and she is taken aback as she knows that she remembers her son being late to school with her the day before the accident happened.

She asks the doctor why her son wasn’t taken from his dad and mom always dropped him off at school, but the doctor is confused because her husband had been in the accident with her and he did not survive. This woman knows that she has been divorced from that man since her son was born 7 years ago and that they do not run in the same circles and that she does not even live in the same city as he does.

She then asks for her son to be moved to a different room since he was with his father and they were going to be buried together. The doctor looks at her in confusion and assures her that her husband was in the vehicle with her and that her son was a passenger in the car when it happened. This woman is bewildered and then the reality really starts to set in that her child is dead and she breaks down crying.

She ended up being moved to a different ward and when she gets back to her room, the second thing she noticed after walking in her room was that there was a picture of her and her son together. The photo was of them together at school drop off and her son was in his 3rd grade outfit and had his backpack on which the woman remembers she had made for him when he was 5. This woman states that she still has a scar on her eye from the same incident where her son fell and touched the stain stick that was wet on the table and she thought it was a marker and drew on himself and she had to put makeup all over his face and he ended up falling on her eye with his chin.

She also states that throughout the last 20 years, she had literally lost count one how many times she has woken up in the middle of the night, thinking it was real. This woman said she had no idea that when she had the accident, she was actually in the future and that she had to live out her whole life before she could come back and try again. She said she believes that she has been given a chance to save her son from that accident.
