My Attitude towards "Communist" and "Socialist" States.

I recently realized that the label of "communist" or "socialist" was often just a spin for a "Nationalist-Authoritarian Dictatorship".

* North Korea is not a communist state, it is nationalist. The government does not care about the ideology of the people. It doesn't care about equality, redistribution of wealth or about helping the poor. It doesn't care about fairness, about rights or about people having autonomy.

* China is a nationalist authoritarian dictatorship. The CPC is evil, the worst of the worst. It is nationalist. They care nothing for the people, for the poor or the oppressed. They lock up ethnic minorities, abuse and rape them.

These states are evil at best, but they are neither truly communist or socialist. They don't even have the capacity to be.

I understand that the goal of Communism is also a stateless and classless society as well, where people live in harmony, workers govern themselves.

So, I can't call them communist, and I'm not trying to.

But it's more than that. These states actively work against everything that communism is supposed to stand for. They are evil, meaning they are the exact opposite of what communism is supposed to stand for. These places are a hell on earth, by any account.
