I'm sick of this narrative that teachers have it easy and are lazy because we only work until 3 pm.

I'm tired of people saying teachers have it easy, that we only work until 3 pm, or that we're lazy. It's just not true. We put in a lot of time outside of the classroom to make sure our students have the best education possible. It's not a normal 8 am to 3 pm job, and people need to stop saying that.
