Never understood how something as simple as soup or scrambled eggs can be so awful.

Recently on an IAD to FRA leg, food fell apart in many ways. The soup was pureed, which made it like paste in your mouth. The scrambled eggs were so dense and rubbery, it was like chewing a sponge.

Do airlines have a weird requirement for texture or something? Because it doesn't even make sense to me. The food can't be that bad because they have to follow the rules that normal restaurants have to follow. So what is it, then?

**TL;DR** I don't like airplane food.

Edit: моментально deleted the wrong comment... sorry about that. I guess I'm a little salty about fake scrambled eggs.

Edit 2: Wow! Thanks for the Upvotes! You guys are great.
