My Husband's "friend" is using their friendship to get to me.

My husband is a great guy and all. He's a bit of a pushover. He lets everyone in. It's something I've grown to learn over the years to not be jealous but to just be cautious.<br><br>I also just want to note that I don't condone cheating. Never have, never will. So, anything talked about here is something I've NEVER EVER acted on. It just squirms me and makes me feel violated.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>Long story short my husband has this friend that has been friends with him for years. He's always been a bit weird. When we talk I just feel uncomfortable.<br><br>He has this bad habit of standing there just *staring* at me until I look at him. It happens so often that my husband has even noticed and asked him to stop. He'd always find excuses like "oh, did I? Sorry I was just zoning out" and that would be it.<br><br>My husband isn't that type to throw shade at people. If anything he'd just say stuff like "oh he's awkward" or "oh he's lonely." I think he just doesn't want to believe his friend is weird and creepy. So, I never brought it up. And it's not something I ever noticed until after we got married.<br><br>It has just gotten worse to the point where I can literally feel him looking at me. It is so uncomfortable. We had company over the other weekend and every time I looked up he was just *staring*. It's to the point where I am actively trying to avoid him as much as possible. It's disgusting.<br><br>I told my husband and he thinks its all in my head and that I should be more understanding that he's awkward. Yeah, but what happens if he goes from being awkward to being harmful? My husband just doesn't believe me and has told me to be nice and to be friendly. But what happens if being nice is what sets this weird guy off?<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>The reason I say it's to get to me is that he only notices me. He never does what he does around me to anyone else. He literally talked to my husband the other day about whether or not my hair is real or extensions and how much he likes my hair. That's so weird to me.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>Sorry for the rant. Just really grossed out and squirming and my husband doesn't get it and I just need to get it out.
