Veteran wants to transition out but unclear what the next steps are

So, my contract ends next week and I am seriously considering leaving the military. The issue is that I am not even sure where to start. I have no idea what the next steps are to leave the military, get a job, and assist my spouse in finding a job. I have no idea where to go, what resources I should use to get myself help with this transition, and how to achieve anything after separating. It was my dream to join the military and serve the country but that dream is over after 18 years of service. <br><br>I am not sure what career I want to pursue, how do I figure out what I want to do and how do you get those jobs?
