You are the leader of a large empire that spans across a continent. You are in the middle of a massive expansion campaign that requires you to travel to the remote corners of your country. When you travel, you have your caravans and pack animals with you. These are mostly camels, horses, and other livestock. When you are out on the road, you will be away from any major cities for months. The vehicles you are in and the animals you have with you will be your only major source of drinking water for a long time. <br><br>When you have finished reading this post, pause for a moment before clicking on another post in your chamber feed. As you sit in silence, slowly pour yourself a glass of water and take a long drink from it. Imagine yourself out in the open desert with three other slowly-moving vehicles, with nothing but sand and rock in front of you. <br><br>Would you rather be sitting at home and sipping on a glass of cool water and taking a moment to relax and unwind, or be sat in active 100° heat with the scorching sun beating down on you, with no respite for hundreds of miles?
