The Simpsons has "Predicted" Everything Because This Show Has Been Around For Longer Than Most Of You

This show has been around since 1989. The show is almost 40 years old. If it was truly "predicting the future" then wouldn't it have stopped by now? Why are people still "amazed" when the show "predicts" something? Even the "predictor" in black mirror could only do so for around 6 decades before the world became too chaotic for it to keep track.
