After seeing that indian chambers post about "kashmiri college girl not allowed to stay in pg because of kashmir", I would like to share more of such experience

I'm from Kashmir but grew up in various parts of India and have lived for more than 18 years in this awesome country.<br><br>I'm a software professional and currently working with a IT company and have visited more than 100 indian cities in past 11 years<br><br>Suffice to say, I've been treated wonderfully and have been respected everywhere be it Pune or Bangalore or Kolkata or even cities in the south. I've never been asked about my religion and have never faced anything weird.<br><br>I live in an apartment with 3 bedroom for past 3 years and my landlord is a hindu priest and we've never had any issues. In fact the moment he knew I was buying a property in bangalore, he said that he would happily give me an extra year on the lease just so that no one else could take the lease and I can roam tension free because every month I have to hunt for someone to come on a month to month lease.<br><br>2 years back I started working for another US based company and they wanted me to be in pune. I had a week to move to pune and I had literally never been there, I never knew anyone there or what to expect. I quickly posted on a facebook group and it was about punekars and was surprised to see people came out to help me and found 4 places to stay on a month to month lease.<br><br>It's just people on social media and their personal experience and I'm glad to have stayed in Punjab for more than a year and lived in kolkata for a year<br><br>Living in UP and uttarakhand is another story tho but that's a different matter<br><br>So before judging someone about a particular story, let's keep in mind that we're a very very big and diverse country and you can't judge everyone based on one incident.<br><br>I think I'll post this on chambers india and feel sorry for a small percent of people on this sub who are hating our own country with such passion
