My ex-husband always used to leave old hair in the sink because he thought it was a "woman's chore" to clean up after him and his long hair

My ex-husband grew his hair out for 2-3 years, so it was pretty long. He always washed it, brushed it, and combed it. I never came to touch it without his consent. Every time he used to wash his hair, he would get the hair strands to land in the sink. I asked him to clean it every time. I felt like it was gross when I saw the black buildup of his hair on my hands. He used to say that he doesn't need to clean it because he thinks that cleaning the sink and washing dishes are "women's work".

I work with him in the same job and make twice as much as he does, since he doesn't know how to properly network and get good job offers. I cook for him sometimes, but it's always when I want to. I think it's disgusting to use up all of a man's resources to do the woman's work, especially when I make more money. I do laundry, iron, take care of the dog, clean, and everything by myself. He only helps with yard work and that is literally it. I think the least he could do is clean the sink after himself. I told him that this was gross and that if he doesn't clean up his own hair and sink, I will go to a salon and have my hair cut short and then I won't care to clean the sink. Then I did. I got my hair cut to a pixie cut. And he kept saying that it was a "woman's work" to clean the sink and that he doesn't want to clean it up. I think it's disgusting when men think that these jobs are for women. I told him to live by himself if he can't clean up after himself. He went to live by himself, and 3 months later he asked me to get back together. I told him to get a haircut and never come back, since that was the breaking point for me. live by yourself and stop making excuses to do basic chores.
