The US doesn't even need a special passport to travel to. Why do you call all non Americans ignorant while requiring a passport even to just enter your country?

Let's focus on Greece. I am Greek, I travel to many countries (European countries of course, South Africa, Brazil, Turkey and soon USA) with an ID card and there is no issue. I don't have to show any passport at the countries borders, only my ID card.

But let's see what happens when, for example, Germans, Americans etc want to enter Greece. We don't ask for an ID card. It's required to have a passport. If you don't have a passport, you will be returned from our borders. It's that simple. Even if you are an American, you are not allowed to enter Greece without a passport. \[A picture of a passport\]\[A picture of an ID card\]

So, why Americans have to show a passport even when they travel to Canada or Mexico? What do you do with your passports when you enter your country? Do you enter with an ID card? You don't. You are required by the law to show your passport.

"We don't need to carry a passport to travel to other states". Oh really?

So, why do you call other nations ignorant for having either passports or ID cards to enter them?
