So I got a cease and desist letter...

So I got a cease and desist letter from Nick Cannon, and I'm not sure what to do? Like I mean I wrote a kid's book, that has no mention of him in it whatsoever. I thought I read the letter wrong. I made sure to read it right. Still I'm not sure why the hell I'm getting this letter. I don't care if he's an actor or comedian. This shit is unacceptable. Like I read the letter slow so I wouldn't miss a thing. The letter basically goes on to say that I stole the name of his kid. The kid's name is Nick Cannon... And I made my main character Nick Cannon. I was waiting on the part that was going to say I put his kid in my story. Never saw it. So I thought there had to be a meme or something that I missed. I text my best friend, and he was the one that told me about it. I still thought I missed something till I found a video of it. But I mean that still didn't make any sense. I couldn't find where his kid appeared in my book. On my copyright it says I came up with the story in 2017. I filed for copyright in 2020. I published it in 2021. I'm not sure what he wants me to cease. The book is already out, and I didn't steal his kid's name. There is a Nick Cannon in Nick Cannon... Like I mean I don't know how his life works, but if he's charging people for using a name he gave his kid, I can imagine what type of dad he is. So yeah that's my Nick Cannon story.
