Backstories should be banned from Marvel movies

Every other movie is about how a young man who was a nobody must use his gift to save the world. Every other movie is about how a person was sad and it made them evil. Every other movie is about how a hero is sad and the villains make them sadder.<br><br>No other franchise uses this device quite as universally as Marvel. I say ban backstories because they have been used so often it’s become a cliché and it’s reverberating back to the audience. Every time they talk about a difficult childhood, it sounds ridiculous. Every time they talk about how they never were loved, we sigh.
