Question for the sub about location - Hamburg, Germany

Hey everyone, <br><br>My friend and I are trying to understand why we are getting so many WCIs this year and wondering whether our locations might be playing a role in that. <br><br>We are in Hamburg, Germany. The weather this year has been crazy, with a very warm winter. I understand that they are native to North America, but do they not like the cold? I am struggling to bring the two together - I have no idea whether we have had an influx of WCIs in the city before but this is the first year both my friend and I have noticed them so frequently.
