How would people react if they learned that a god was real?

After a certain event, he is revealed to everyone, and people are shocked. Some don’t believe it, and others do. Then the god decides to show himself to the world, and some people aren’t happy about it. Some would be excited, while others would be angry and depressed. There are a few different ways the story could go from there.<br><br>Some possibilities could be that the god eventually announces that the world is just a simulation, and that he has been watching his followers, then the people would divide into those who want to stay in the world and those who want to destroy it.
