Is it normal for companies to not give you a lot of information on the job description?

I’ve been having trouble finding a job in sports and I think it’s been really difficult because the job posting doesn’t provide a whole lot of information. <br><br>I’ve started applying for more internships in sports and I’ve had a couple of interviews. During the interviews, the employers don’t really know that much about the jobs either. I’ve been told “I won’t lie, I don’t know a lot about the job, but I’ll set up an interview with the manager and you can ask him your questions”. <br><br>I’ve had 2 interviews with the managers and still no one really knows what the job is about. I was told it would be a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and it’s a good company to work for. <br><br>Is this normal for companies to not give information about the job? I’m ready to just take an offer already because I’m getting tired of looking for jobs.
