Remember, there is a difference between being a witch and being a woman in the patriarchy.

The patriarchy does not respect women but they do the same to witches and pagans who have faith in a different god or gods, and is not Christian.

To be a witch is to be powerful, and to know how to make changes in your life and fight for what you want.

To be a woman in the patriarchy, is to be treated as powerless, and knowing how to make changes in your life and fight for what you want.

You can be one and not the other, but we all should work together.

Edit: there has been a fair amount of comments here from people with a very hard stance against witchcraft, some of which have gone as far as to call us wicked and the servants of Satan.

Please do not believe these sources. I, as a witch, have far more respect and love for witches, Satanists, and pagans than for Christians. They are my people and my community, and because of our experiences, we know better than most how terrible Christianity is, and what they are capable of.

Witches are witches because we found a place where we could be our true selves, and practice the religion we see fit to practice. Telling us to stop being witches is saying we shouldn't be who we are.

The patriarchy undermines our power and our identity.

And I'm glad to be a witch.
