What is the most surprisingly good animal pairing you've seen or experienced?

One of the best animal unexpected friendships I ever had the pleasure of seeing was between a duckling and a cat who grew up together. They were the best of friends. We rescued them together under a shed. The duckling was brought up by the cat. It was very unusual but it worked.
