The Christmas story is the story of God (the state) sending his son to Earth to preach the word of love.

He is sad that man (Adam) has chosen the pursuit of wealth over love, so he decides to send a savior to him in the hopes that man will go back to the way he was before he ate of the tree of knowledge (the era before society became more capitalistic).

The son of God is born in the stable of an inn, and is visited by shepards (today's poor), and magi (today's wealthy), and is given gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, which represent the three main resources humans need to live, food, shelter, and medicine (or bodily comfort), the first of which is gold, which was the legal tender at the time, the second was incense, which represents home and its necessities, and the third, myrrh, which was used extensively in medicine, and was the most valuable thing you could have to ensure a long life.

The son of God preaches extensively that no man is superior to any other man, and that every man should feel equally worthy and comfortable in the eyes of their creator, and that a man who cannot look his brother in the eye and know that his brother is his equal is not living life as he should live it.

And that the pursuit of wealth is the root of all evil, and that the only way to really live is to live in harmony with nature and humanity.

The son of God says that he who will pursue wealth and material possessions over his relationships with his fellow man will not enter the kingdom of heaven. This is a direct reference to a UBI, in which the state provides for all of man's needs, without the need for any kind of employment, money, or transactional relationships.

The son of God also says that those who have two tunics should give one to him who has none, and those who have two pairs of shoes should give one to him who has none, and this has been extended today to those who have two homes, two cars, or in general, two of anything should give one to those who have none.

The son of God and his disciples lived off the charity of their followers, having no homes, money, or possessions, and spent their days helping those in need, healing the sick, and spreading the message of love and the kingdom of heaven.

The son of God was crucified by society for his message, and his body was put in a tomb, where he resurrected after three days, and went up to heaven, leaving his disciples to carry out his message.

So in conclusion, the Christmas story is the story of God (the state) sending a savior (Jesus) to the world to preach the importance of a UBI and how it would create a utopian society, and to prove it, the savior himself lived off the generosity of others and never possessed any wealth, home, or material goods. He also healed the sick, and preached extensively that everyone should love everyone else, and that we are all equally worthy of love and respect in the eyes of God.
