I believe my 5 year old niece because I know my brother would do it

My brother is a very shady guy. He has been in and out of jail several times for possession of drugs and has tried to commit arson several times. My parents and other siblings claim to be concerned about his well being but I’m the only one that realized that even though we love him, he is not a good person. <br><br>My niece is my brothers daughter. She is 5 years old. Her mother is a heroine addict and has not been in her life for nearly two years. My brother is an addict as well and is on methadone treatment. I do not know why, but my parents know and accept that my brother is an addict and is receiving treatment but do not believe that he is actually an addict. They refuse to acknowledge it. <br><br>My niece has been living with my mother for a year now and my brother has a hard time seeing her because he is usually high. My parents believe he is not high when he is with her. He is with her once in a while and recently, my mother reported that my niece said it hurts when she pees. She has had a urinary tract infection before so my mother thought that is why it hurt and took her to urgent care. Urgent Care did not see anything wrong with her but she still was complaining about pain. She was taken to the emergency room where it was determined that she had an std. <br><br>My parents are now certain that she was raped. They are saying it was probably her mothers boyfriend since he looks “shady.” They are hard to convince that it was actually my brother who did it. I know he did it and that my parents are just trying to cover for him. <br><br>My parents are being ridiculous trying to cover for him when they should be seeking help for him and my niece.
