CMV: Pick your own type and quantity of fruit in plastic containers should be banned

If you go to a large grocery store in the United States most of them will have a portion of their produce section where you can pick your own fruit and weigh it at the end. A lot of these places will put the fruit in small plastic containers. The plastic is a huge waste and the fruit will be fine if you did the math yourself! For example, 5 apples will be in a plastic container, but one apple will still be in a container. Once they are done, that container is thrown away. I saw one place that did it by the pound, but the fruit was still in plastic containers. I would say all fruit should be without small plastic containers when pick your own fruit and weigh. I am not the best when it comes to English, so sorry if it is hard to understand.
