How do I make a dramatization of a City’s economic population decline?

I did some research on how Detroit went from a thriving metropolis in the 1950s to a post-industrial wasteland in 2010. Things got really interesting when I started mapping out the population decline and population shifts. I have a vision of making a dramatized series of what causes the population to decline and how it affects the city. The research is already done, but I’m having trouble visualizing it. I’m not a professional artist, nor am I a skilled writer for City drama. But I’m familiar with the process. I know I’m looking for a white canvas, and I’m ready to paint the picture, but I don’t know the colors to use, and how to mix them.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>Any suggestions or ideas on what colors to use and how to paint it?<br><br>Edit: I’m aiming for a comic book format.
