The US is pulling out of Afghanistan and the country is quickly falling to the Taliban. It seems clear that the war in Afghanistan was never intended to be won.<br><br>What is really going on in Afghanistan is anyone's guess. But the official line is that the US invaded Afghanistan to root out terrorism.
