New fad: AI image generators

Everybody's favorite "art" style is now officially dead and outdated. Nth wave cyberpunk -> midjourney -> DALL-E -> openai's "improved DALL-E" -> GIMP's AI image generation plugin that's completely free and you don't have to buy tokens for.<br><br>>everybody can derail any topic by posting their simultaneously disabled and hyper realistic AI horse (see the "alpine horse" style)<br><br>>while pretentious zoomers get to pretend to be true artists<br><br>I am not sure what's more depressing, the fact that AI image generators are so accessible or the fact that they are getting better.<br><br>Do you think these "art" styles are going to take over the internet (in the same way as "AI" has)
