how is my boyfriend "agoraphobic" but still goes to my house?

my boyfriend (17) claims to be agoraphobic and said that he spent most of his life in his bedroom and doesn't really go out much (he does have other friends, but he doesn't go to their places or hang out anywhere else). he still has no issue at all coming to my house. he is there almost every other day, and even stays overnight pretty often. he has no problem going to the willing to spend time with me out in public (we've gone to uh, the park, restaraunts, the mall) and then coming to my house afterwards. <br><br>he doesn't have a diagnosis but he says he is very different with me, and that he feels safe with me. i don't think he's lying about his diagnosis but i don't get it. <br><br>how can you be afraid of public places but then spend most of your life in my living room? <br><br>EDIT: i know he doesnt have a diagnosis and i know it's offensive to imply you have a mental illness when you don't. i apoligize for that.
