Banning AI = banning a gun.

There’s a lot of talk about how AI should be banned. I’ve seen some arguments defending the existence of AI akin to “we need to use it responsibly” or that it’s useless to try to completely ban it. The thing is when you start using AI, you start enabling the existence of it. And before we know it AI will be invincible and it will be almost impossible to ban it. I’m not saying it’s useless to try to ban it, I’m saying that before we talk about banning it, we need to stop the creation of it. If we can pull that off banning it will be a mere formality.
