Graduating from college early is empowering

I get to graduate a whole year earlier than my cohort because I took AP tests in high school and placed out of other classes. I got a good scholarship, have a decent GPA, and get to graduate in 3 years. I was planning on staying for the full four years, but my financial aid this semester told me that I only need four more classes to graduate. I feel like I won the lottery. I get to save money and time on college, I can enter the job market a year earlier, and I get to skip a Minnesota winter. I feel like I’m beating the system. I don’t plan on going to grad school, and my field doesn’t require it.

Edit: I realize that not everyone can take AP tests. I was just mad about people telling me that graduating in three years is a bad idea. The number of people who told me that because I get to finish college early, I won’t be ready for the real world is unbelievable. I feel ready, and I’ve had a job the whole time I’ve been in school, I’m not mad that I had AP tests, I’m mad that college is so expensive.
