If you see something, say something... And then get ignored.

I reported a guy who was threatening to massacre hundreds of people and I got ignored. I was on a sleepless voice chat on a gaming platform and a guy joined, well, no need to get too much into the weeds, but he was VERY explicitly talking about how he wanted to commit a massacre and how he was planning on doing it. I reported him to the platform, and got a description of him sent to the local authorities, I tried to get in contact with a few local mental health hotlines and got a bunch of phone numbers in return, but was told that with no direct threat to himself, they would have no way of reaching out to him.<br><br>Unless this guy actually does what he said he was going to do, nothing will happen to him.. and if he does do what he said he was going to do, hundreds of innocent people will have to pay the price for our inadequate systems of mental healthcare.
