Why do you think there is so much pressure to have a family?

I'm 22m and cis, never felt like I wanted any children. But I'm surrounded by messages from basically everywhere that having a family is the best thing. I don't even have a gf right now. Also, all my left-wing friends say that having children is a horrible thing for the planet. I never really felt like I wanted to have a child, but it's kinda worrying that I will be a loser if I don't have a family or something.
