There is a lot of people who won't post part for less than what they bought it for, even though it saves them money in the long run.

If you're selling for your loss, then you may as well post it for a cheap price and get someone to get it faster. You still get your money back, you don't have to deal with long weeks of a post going unreplied to, and it saves you the mental stress of wasting more of your time waiting for an uninformed buyer to see your post.

There is a lot of posts recently where someone loses money (sometimes 100s) on a sale, and their post goes unreplied to for several days. Sometimes, people just don't see your post, and the faster it gets seen, the faster you'll sell it. If you're still making more profit on it than you would with an empty post, then you can still make more profit out of that money sitting in your account faster than keeping the price where it is if you post it for less.
