Every serious AI conference I have attended in the last 2 years has a theme that deep learning will die in the next 5 years.<br><br>Said in slightly different terms (paraphrasing) by every prominent researcher in the field. I really can't think of anyone who says otherwise when given the opportunity to speak their mind freely. Deep learning has served us well in the past 10 years, but it's time to move forward.
