I accidentally found a wonderful hotel in Paris.

My husband and daughter and I are here for one week. It’s been 40 years since I’ve been here and the first time for them. We flew into CDG and got an Uber to take us to our hotel. The driver had an accent to boot and when we were talking to him, I made the comment that the city was going to be huge but that he would surely know where to go. He said “oh yes, I no where I’m going.” And then said “I hope you enjoy your stay here at the Hotel Plaza Athenee.”<br><br>Say what now???? I accidentally booked a five star hotel. We’re not rich and I had no idea that we were coming here. We are on the 4th floor and have a view of the Eiffel Tower , the hotel has an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and a world class spa. <br>The staff is very friendly and speak wonderful English. We’re staying here for four nights. <br><br>I can’t wait to explore. I’ll post when I can.
