In a hypothetical situation where there is a school shooter/active shooter, there are a lot of topics and questions that need to be addressed.

**Do you have permission to even be armed? Have you complied with all laws and regulations to carry your weapon?**

**Do you have permission to enter the school?**

**Unless you are a full time employee at the school, you are trespassing if you enter with a weapon. I don't care if you're a parent of a kid there. Are you going to murder teachers and staff with your kid still in the school just because you've decided to play Rambo?**

**If you have a permit to carry, you have already declared that you are a deadly force.**

**How are you going to differentiate between the shooter vs the people trying to evacuate?**

**How are you going to differentiate between the shooter and the police arriving on scene?**

**What if your kid is hiding in a classroom, and you kill them because they're "the shooter"?**

**What if the shooter isn't the only threat? Do you have training to differentiate between a civilian shooter and a civilian shooter with explosives?**

**What if the shooter is a minor, and you know them? What are you gonna do? Shoot a kid and live with that?**

**Are you prepared to go to prison after this is all over?**

If your response to my post is "I don't care about the law, I'll shoot anyone who's armed," you're a menace to society, and you need to be reported to the authorities.
