My best friend was killed by her own husband

Yeah sorry to tell you all this because it's not the best content.<br><br>This happened at the end of September but I was overseas for 2 months and didn't visit Reddit.<br><br>My best friend lives in my hometown. We met about 8 years ago when I was about to live abroad. She lives a relatively traditional life. She taught in a college for about 10 years before she got married and then moved to a high school, but she's still teaching in the same department. She got married two years ago, and now she has a 1-year-old baby girl. <br><br>When we met she was 26, and I was 20. I've known her for 8 years. She's the person I cherish the most in my life. My life has fallen apart since she left us.<br><br>So what happened was she was wearing her wedding dress and her husband was wearing his wedding suit at their daughter's birthday party. She was preparing for a speech and suddenly the husband clutched her and then she fell. A few seconds later, the husband also fell. My best friend died, and the husband is in a coma state.<br><br>When the police started investigating and found that the husband had a health condition called **ARVD (Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Dysplasia)**, which is a rare and dangerous heart disease that could lead to SCD (Sudden Cardiac Death). As he got older, his condition also worsened. <br><br>The investigation found that my best friend had no chance of survival. When her husband fell, the force was so great that it crushed her organs, including her heart, lungs, and aorta. The police did not find any signs of struggle and they basically didn't suffer as the force was so strong and they immediately lost consciousness.<br><br>The husband's family is still in a state of grief and is currently raising their granddaughter. The husband's parents have two sons, so now they have no children.<br><br>I am still devastated. She was not only my best friend but also my confidant, mentor, and the sweetest person in my life.
