I don’t have an issue with catgirls, but I think this sub needs a tenet

Speaking to those who don’t like catgirls, I don’t have anything against them. I enjoy non-hentai games with anthro characters as well as occasional ‘softcore’ 18+ content as long as it’s non incestuous. I like my catgirls.<br><br>But I find myself hating the sexualization of real life cats and dogs. As well as seeing your typical anime girls get this treatment. It’s just not my cup of tea. It’s disturbing and takes away from my hobbies, and the safety of a server - say a discord server - when people are constantly posting these images and pushing their own sexual interests onto you.<br><br>I’ve seen people who are about the catgirls and not the real life cats. It’s important I say this because I don’t want to create a divide.<br><br>But I also have to ask, are you people who post images of sexualized real life cats and dogs okay with the sexualization of a video game character you love? Let’s say the characters in Minecraft for example. No, the game wasn’t made for kids, I don’t care, it’s popular in the child and adult community. Are you okay with the sexualization of Minecraft characters? No, right? <br><br>Then why do you insist on sexualizing real life animals, or characters in a game when the creators of that game never intended for it to be sexual?
