Hello this is not Omnicron but I am here to bring you a recipe that you can freeze for later. Due to the state of the world I made this for lunch today and I thought I would share.

In the picture is my finished frozen, then thawed pulled pork sandwiches

Here is the recipe

**Ingredients:**

* 2 pound pork shoulder
* 1tbsp garlic powder
* 1tbsp Chili powder
* 1tbsp onion powder
* 2tbsp Brown sugar
* 1tbsp smoked paprika
* 1tbsp ground cumin
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 tsp black pepper
* 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

**Instructions:**

1. In a small bowl combine the garlic powder, chili powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, brown sugar, smoked paprika, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Then sprinkle the dry rub all over the pork shoulder
2. Place the pork shoulder into a slow cooker then cook for 8-10 hours on low and 4-6 hours on high.
3. Once the pork is tender, use 2 forks to "pull" the meat apart into shreds.
4. Then serve the pulled pork on a bun with your favorite toppings and sides.

**Freezing Instructions:**

1. Once the shredded pork is cool place it into a freezer ziplock bag.
2. Flatted the ziplock and removed as much air out as possible and close the bag.
3. Then place the bag into the freezer and store for up to 8 months.

**Topping Ideas:**

* Caramelized onions
* Pickles
* Jalapeños
* BBQ sauce
* Coleslaw

**My Price Breakdown:**

* 2 pounds pork shoulder $5
* All seasonings combined cost $1
* Buns: 8 count $2
* BBQ sauce $0.50 (for my price calculations I only need 1/4 cup)
* Coleslaw $1.25 (for my price calculations I only need 1 cup)
* Total Cost: $9.75

Servings: 8
Price per serving: $1.22
Price per pound: $2.44

**Chambers Please Take Responsibility and Practice Social Distancing**
