Should meal prep for the week be spicy for the last few days?

So here’s the thing, after meal prepping for 5 days, the last 2-3 meals don’t taste as spicy as the first two days. It’s as if the heat or the capsaicin wears off after sitting in the fridge or freezer. So I now intentionally make my food spicier than I typically would. Should I? Is it just me? Does it help you too?
