The AI is not intelligent.

I think people are misunderstanding what AI is these days. I've read a lot of threads that people are saying it's not going to take over the world. I looked at comments and people are still confused. I want to tell you that it is not intelligent.

I know someone here has posted something like this, but I want to repeat it. The term AI is a missnomer. It is not intelligent. If it was, it would have become sentient and taken over the world by now. There is no chance of it taking over the world anytime soon because it is actually not intelligent.

What is AI? It's an algorithm. An algorithm is a set of rules to follow. When humans tell these AI to draw, it follows a specific set of rules to draw. The human is the one who made the algorithm. So the outcome is actually us, not them. We gave the rules, they followed it. They just didn't follow it perfectly as most humans would want to.

What makes us intelligent? We can adapt to the environment. What is the environment? It is not something that can be explained in simple rules or data. This is what AI is lacking. We need to be able to teach AI to adapt and change to the environment, which is something we don't know how to do.

If an AI is not intelligent, why is it taking over? Well, what are they taking over? They are not taking over any jobs that require high probability. They are taking over jobs that people don't need to adapt to the environment. These are jobs where there is only one outcome. A bookkeeper only has one outcome. A teacher only has one outcome. An engineer only has one outcome. The outcome is all the same.

Most of the jobs that have multiple outcomes, humans will not hire AI. CEOs, managers, etc, do not depend on only one outcome. It requires adaptation to the environment. They have multiple outcomes each day. For example, the CEO has to adapt to the economy, environment, etc. Each day, they have to make new decisions depending on the environment. Most CEOs will not hire an AI CEO because they are not adaptable to the environment.

So, let's stop saying AI is intelligent. What is intelligent is us. The AI is just an algorithm. It is not intelligent. What we are afraid of is not the AI, but ourselves. We, the humans, are the ones that are adapting to the environment. If it was the AI, it would have become sentient and taken over the world by now. I don't think humans will ever be able to make an AI become sentient, and even if it does, it will most likely be a clone of us.

Another argument people make is that AI can learn. Let me tell you, AI can't learn. It can't adapt to the environment. All it can do is follow rules. Yes, it can make mistakes. But if you look at the outcome, the outcome is what we gave it. The outcome is what we told it to do. If you look at what AI has done, it is what we made them do.

Yes, I am also against AI. I just want to make it clear that what we need to be against is AI. But we are not against AI because we are afraid it will take over the world. We are against AI because we are afraid of losing our jobs. AI will not take over our jobs as long as we don't become lazy. As long as we work hard, we will always have a job. I think this is what people are forgetting.
