What is the creepiest or most off-putting thing you’ve seen while traveling?

I was just in the most beautiful Airbnb in Tuscany but when I got in the shower, I noticed a bunch of empty shampoo, conditioner, and lotion containers on the top of the bathtub. But they were empty because they were all filled with water and there was a beautiful little blossom floating in each. It felt like something out of a Disney movie where the spirit of the house leaves you a romantic gift, but it really felt creepy and I had to dump them all. Does anyone have any similar experiences?
