Husband admitted to me that he was a “gym bro” that used to go to the gym to pick up women before we met

I (F26) just found out that my husband (M31) used to regularly go to the gym to pick up women. He went to a really popular chain gym and said he met loads of women to hook up with. This was before we met, we’ve been together for nearly 7 years. <br><br>He told me this yesterday out of the blue during a conversation about the gym and how much i hate it because all the guys stare at me. He said men and women pick each other up at the gym because women often wear “sexy” clothes. I’m not one to wear tiny shorts and a cropped top to the gym. I’m more of a leggings and a hoodie kinda girl because I want to feel comfortable while working out. <br><br>I don’t even go to that gym he used to go to, i go to a different gym chain near my house. I told him I didn’t understand why he brought this up and if he was calling me a gym slut or something (jk i know i don’t dress like that but the comment really bugged me). He said he wasn’t calling me a slut, but just that in general some women go to the gym to pick up men. He said he used to pick up women at his old gym all the time. <br><br>I was shocked and kind of upset by this, not because he did this before we met, but because I feel like he thinks im that kinda girl who goes to the gym to “look for men” just because im a young woman who wears makeup? Idk it just rubbed me the wrong way. He said i’m being too sensitive and it was just a normal conversation, but i really don’t like that he mentioned he used to pick up women and how he thinks women who wear certain clothes to the gym are trying to get picked up by men. <br><br>Is this something i should just drop or talk to him about?
