People who only buy new cars are crazy

I know a lot of people who will not buy a used car. They think if you buy used you get some busted up piece of crap that’s going to break down on you all the time. <br><br>My last 3 cars I have purchased have all been used. I keep them meticulously clean and well maintained and I have had zero issues. I watch the market for a make and model I want at a specific year and mileage. I pay cash for my cars and never go into debt. <br><br>I keep my cars until they die but I have a friend who trades in his car every 2 years. He puts himself in a lot of debt for a new car every couple of years. He could buy a new car and sell it in 2 years for the same amount of money he paid for it. I don’t understand why people buy new cars.
